Bridge Housing lasts 12 - 15 months

Eligibility

You must be homeless or near homeless due to domestic violence.

Open to victims with or without children.

Application Process

A written application is required. Applications are available from the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County.

4 interviews Bridge Transitional Housing Case Manager are required. The Case Manager will explain program policies, expectations and criteria for selection of participants.

The Case Manager will submit a written recommendation to the Housing Review Panel.

The Housing Review Panel will evaluate the candidate's application.

The candidate will be notified in writing of the Housing Review Panel's decision.

Bridge Transitiona] Housing clients are required to contribute 10% of their income to the program.

Housing program policies of the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County are designed to assure the safety and comfort of all. Clients are expected to follow these policies and to work toward achieving the goals set in their individual goal plans.
