Volunteers are expected to fulfill a commitment of one year from the completion of training, and to provide an average of 10 hours' service per month.

Training

Staff and volunteers complete a series of seminars which equip graduates with the information and skills to empower victims and advocate on their behalf. Trainings take place twice a year, in the Spring and the Fall.

  • The 45-hour training includes 5 hours of supervised practice.

  • A $20 fee helps cover the cost of materials.
