Opportunities for Groups
There are also group opportunities available.  Your group can help with painting and other improvement projects,cleaning and room setup for clients, and landscaping are just a few of the ideas and possibilities. Please contact us with ideas and questions!

Volunteer Training
Staff & volunteers complete a series of seminars which equip graduates with the information and skills to empower victims and advocate on their behalf. Training take place twice a year, in the Spring and the Fall. The cost of this course is $40.00 which helps cover the cost of materials.

The 45-hour training includes 5 hours of supervised practice. Training includes:

  • Lecture and discussions  
  • Video screenings 
  • Interactive exercises
  • Group activities
  • Role-playing

Volunteers are expected to fulfill a commitment of one year from the completion of training, and to provide an average of 10 hours of service per month.
