In
2010, DVCCC provided direct services to over 3,400 survivors of domestic violence and their children. Chester County's population is approximately 500,000. Since it has been determined that one in four women are affected by domestic abuse, it is clear that there are many more survivors in our community who need our help. These individuals are victimized through physical, sexual and emotional abuse, isolation, intimidation, and/or threats to children. They live in every community and in all neighborhoods. They attend your places of worship. Their children go to school with your children. They are your friends and relatives.

What Can You Do?
Your financial contribution to DVCCC enables us to provide the following free and confidential services for survivors of abuse and their dependent children:

  • 24 hour hotline
  • Emergency Shelter (including food and clothing)
  • Adult individual and group counseling
  • Legal counseling, advocacy and representation
  • Referrals to other agencies for job training, medical needs, etc.
  • Housing programs designed to encourage survivors to live independently
  • Children's counseling and recreation programs
  • Day Care for children of survivors
  • Public education and volunteer training

Checks should be made payable to:
